Hi, Majjack here, have a 2022 Kia Seltos and like the car "but" :

since I've had it when in cruise it will sift down and stay in a lower gear (gas engine noise etc.) eah time I have taken it in for service I have complained about it - dealer test drives it and it doesn't happen, this time a mechanic went with me and it did happen repeatedly he put the computer on it and said he would report it to KIA (didn't know cause or fix) and went in 2 weeks later to ask and was told KIA would require a recording of the problem. I brought the car back for a day and had it done, went in today and was told that Kia's response was this is a common problem with this transmission! ( I wondered if I stopped paying for the care when confronted for non payment I told KIA that this was a common problem with purchasers if that would be a satisfactory explanation for them)
